Doubtlessly, it is a good trail
to be on as I walk,
smiling past the green-lawned
perfection of a cemetery,
laid out like God's golf course.
I am overjoyed to be alive
on a sunny day. I walk
seeing birds ground poking
and children puddle jumping.
Today's sun, God made of course.
I smiled through shadows, feeling alive as I walk in the quiet of early morning. My way is plotted and laid out trying to follow God's course.
